Find out why James DePaiva's role in the play Chasing Jack just may give his new General Hospital gig a run for its money.
Fans of former One Life to Live star James DePaiva (ex-Max Holden) are thrilled to see the talented actor back in daytime as General Hospital's Dr. David Bensch. But his other stint as a doctor may be just as thrilling and nail-biting as his Port Charles work.
The actor is the star of the new John Anastasi play Chasing Jack, which tells the story of Dr. Jack Chase, a surgeon with a serious gambling addiction.
"Through the lens of a malpractice lawsuit that could end his career, Chasing Jack explores familial relationships, medical ethics, and the potentially crippling effects of addiction," states the play's official website. "The malpractice lawsuit brings together friends, estranged family members and lovers in a striking concoction of personalities that have all been affected by Jack. The stakes couldn't be any higher as Jack looks back at every pivotal moment in his career, some uplifting and others utterly devastating, but all riveting pieces of the puzzle that is Dr. Jack Chase."
