GH alum Rebecca already at work on post-soap gig

Recent General Hospital alum Rebecca (ex-Hayden Barnes; ex-Greenlee Smythe, All My Children) has taken on a job oh-so-familiar to us all: jury duty!

Rebecca has seen her fair share of courtroom drama over the years as All My Children's Greenlee Smythe and General Hospital's Hayden Barnes, so she should have no trouble with her latest gig: reporting for jury duty.

The actress took to Instagram to share that she is upholding her responsibility as an American at the Los Angeles Country Criminal Division -- with a few helpful additions like a refreshing drink and a book called The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera, which follows two women, two men, a dog, and their lives in the 1968 Prague Spring period of Czechoslovakian history.

If the author's name sounds oddly familiar, there might be a good reason. Kundera was the last name of Bianca's girlfriend, Lena, on All My Children -- and Lena and 's AMC alter ego, Greenlee, did cross paths.

's real-life neighbor, Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher), took the opportunity to tease the actress (as part of their long-lasting "feud"). He responded with, "Are you gonna stare at the book cover or have you recently learned to read?"

was quick to respond with a witty: "Since I'm in criminal court, maybe [I'll] see you here."

Despite being busy serving jury duty and throwing digs, also took the time to give a shout-out to the victims of Hurricane Harvey. She urges fans in a tweet to donate to her charity of choice, the Red Cross, if they're feeling helpless.
