Rumor has it John York will soon be returning to General Hospital as the beloved character of Mac Scorpio.
Get ready for an exciting blast from the past, General Hospital fans. Word on the street is that John J. York will soon be reprising his role as Mac Scorpio.
The character hasn't technically been gone; he just has not been seen in a while due to the writers choosing to focus on other stories. But that's all about to change.
According to numerous reports, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will soon have an important and revealing conversation with her former brother-in-law. But don't get your hopes up too high -- York's appearance is said to be short. But hey, short and sweet beats nothing at all, right? And the timing couldn't be better -- 2016 will mark York's 25th anniversary as Mac. York made his first appearance on February 14, 1991.
A rep for GH couldn't be reached for comment on York's supposed return.
What do you think about York's Mac making a possible return appearance? Would you like to see more story written for the character?
