GH alum joins FX drug world pilot

Former General Hospital star Andrea Bogart (ex-Abby Haver) is the next soap star to join the FX pilot Snowfall.

Hot on the heels of the news that Days of our Lives' Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez) has joined the FX pilot Snowfall comes word that General Hospital alum Andrea Bogart (ex-Abby Haver) has landed a role in the drama, as well.

Deadline reports that the actress will play a character named Mrs. Volpe in the pilot, which is set against the beginning of the crack cocaine epidemic in 1980s Los Angeles.

Banus, who recently returned to DAYS after a long absence, plays Lucia Villanueva, whose father is a successful drug dealer that spoiled his little girl over the years. Born in Mexico but raised in the U.S., Lucia's entitlement masks a deeply scarred soul; she now wants to take control of her life through whatever means necessary.
