Marc Anthony Samuel has confirmed that he is on recurring status with General Hospital. The actor made his first appearance as Felix Dubois in 2012.
With its large cast, it is not surprising that there is not always enough time to shine a spotlight on every Port Charles resident. As a result, General Hospital has made the decision to drop one of its stars to recurring status.
Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix Dubois) confirmed on social media that he is no longer on contract with the ABC soap.
"Hey fans, thanks for the support. GH is just a small part of a great and ongoing journey. Onward and upward!" the actor shared on Twitter. "To be clear guys, I'm recurring. Not on contract though."

A one-time confidant to several of the leading ladies of Port Charles, Felix has had his storyline diminish in recent months, following the sudden departure of his sister and a controversial "threesome" storyline.
Samuel has been filming scenes for the movie Imperfect Sky, and he recently wrapped up work on two short films. Earlier this year, Hot Guys With Guns, a film that Samuel headlined, was released on DVD.
Samuel made his first appearance as Felix on December 4, 2012.
