Jackie Zeman will make another round of appearances on General Hospital. Zeman, who first appeared as Bobbie Spencer in 1977, was last seen on-screen in April.
Fan favorite Jackie Zeman (Barbara Jean "Bobbie" Spencer) is headed back to General Hospital. The actress made the announcement via social media.
"#GH rocks. I'm excited to be coming back," Zeman shared on Twitter, adding that "Good times" are ahead.
Zeman will reportedly be involved in a big storyline with her on-screen daughter, Laura Wright (Carly Jacks). There are also whispers that GH might use Zeman's alter ego to usher back Lucas Jones, Bobbie's adopted son. The show is keeping the details of Bobbie's return a secret, but that didn't stop Zeman from praising GH's executive producer, Frank Valentini, and head writer Ron Carlivati's storytelling.
"Just received my scripts [for] Bobbie's return to #GH. Riveting!!! Thank you, Thank you. Am excited, very happy," Zeman added.
Zeman created the role of Bobbie in December 1977. The actress last appeared on-screen on GH in April as part of the soap's 50th anniversary celebration.
