Natalia Livingston has joined the cast of the new soap-within-a-soap series Tainted Dreams. Livingston, who is best known for her Emmy-winning role as Emily Quartermaine, has also appeared on Days of our Lives.
Emmy winner Natalia Livingston (ex-Emily Quartermaine) has joined the all-star cast of the new scripted series Tainted Dreams. Livingston will play the role of Liza Park.
"Liza Park is an actress who plays Ashley Black in Tainted Dreams' soap within the soap, Painted Dreams," previews creator and executive producer Sonia Blangiardo. "Liza is a woman in transition, making all the wrong choices in her personal life until she finally learns to listen to her heart and then finds strength she never knew she had."
Originally from Macon, Georgia, Natalia Livingston received her B.A. from Emory University, and then with local theatre credits under her belt, moved from her small southern town to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of acting.

Livingston landed the role as Emily Quartermaine on ABC's General Hospital in 2003, and remained with the series through 2009. Before leaving the series, Livingston had the opportunity to play the coveted role of a soap opera twin, appearing as Rebecca Shaw for much of 2009. Livingston appeared briefly on GH earlier this year to help mark the show's 50th anniversary. In 2005, Livingston won a Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category.
In addition to her work on General Hospital, Livingston also appeared briefly in 2011 as Taylor Walker on Days of our Lives.
Outside of daytime, Livingston has appeared in the indie films Rough Hustle and West of Brooklyn. In 2012, Livingston executive produced the PBS documentary The Man Who Ate New Orleans, about a pastor's historic quest to rebuild and reunite the people of New Orleans through food and music.
Currently, Livingston has a producing deal at National Geographic, where she recently wrapped a non-scripted pilot for the network and has several more projects in development.
The cast of Tainted Dreams also includes soap vets Alicia Minshew (Kendall Hart, All My Children), Grant Aleksander (Phillip Spaulding, Guiding Light), Kelley Menighan Hensley (Emily Stewart, As the World Turns), Terri Ivens (ex-Simone Torres, AMC), Michael Lowry (ex-Jake Martin, All My Children), Austin Peck (ex-Austin Reed, Days of our Lives), Marnie Schulenburg (As the World Turns), Walt Willey (ex-Jackson Montgomery, AMC), and Colleen Zenk (ex-Barbara Ryan, ATWT).
