Things in Port Charles may soon get a little crazy -- not that there's anything wrong with that. A General Hospital spokesperson confirms that Robin Mattson will reprise the role of Heather Webber this spring.
Another fan favorite face from General Hospital's past is headed back to show. A show spokesperson confirms that Robin Mattson (Heather Webber) will rejoin the show this spring.
Mattson first played the role of Heather from 1980 to 1982. She returned for a short story arc in 2004 that had Heather "reconnecting" with her family, but in reality she was out to get her hands on Edward Quartermaine's money. Heather was carted off to Ferncliff and has presumably been residing there ever since.
This time around, Heather is expected to be reunited with her son, Steve. When Steve was just a child, Heather sold him on the black marker and told Steve's father, Jeff, that the child had died.
Mattson has appeared in numerous memorable daytime roles. Her longest run in daytime was as Gina on Santa Barbara. From 1994 to 2000, Mattson appeared as All My Children's Janet Green. September 29, 2003In 2003, she had a brief spot as Sugar on The Bold and the Beautiful. Four years later, she played a madam named Cheri Love on As the World Turns. More recently, Mattson played a crooked prisoner named Lee Michaels on Days of our Lives.
An exact first airdate has not yet been announced, but Mattson's first on-screen appearance is expected in late March or early April.
