Robin Christopher's time in Port Charles is coming to an end. The actress will exit General Hospital at the end of the month. Christopher rejoined the show in March. She previously appeared as Skye on All My Children, One Life to Live, and Port Charles.
Though the news might not come as a shock to General Hospital fans, Soap Central has confirmed that Robin Christopher (Skye Quartermaine) will be leaving General Hospital by the end of the month. The actress' exit comes just four months after she returned to the ABC soap.
Christopher rejoined the Port Charles fray in March 2010, ending a two-year absence from the show. Christopher previously enjoyed a seven-year run on General Hospital.
While fans of Christopher might be upset that the actress will soon be off-screen, some have already begun campaigning for All My Children to rehire Christopher. Christopher made her debut as Skye in 1987 on ABC's All My Children. After four years with the show, Christopher left to pursue other opportunities. The actress holds the unusual distinction of having played Skye on four different soap operas -- All My Children, One Life to Live, Port Charles, and General Hospital.
In addition to her work on the four ABC soaps, Christopher also appeared as Lorna Devon on Another World from 1994 to 1997.
Christopher's final General Hospital airdate is July 29.
