On General Hospital, Thanksgiving at the Quartermaine mansion is always full of surprises, many of which destroy dinner, so the family ends up having to eat pizza. The Quartermaine mansion is starting to fill up with occupants, and most recently, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has stated that he’s going to move back there to be close to his son Danny (Asher Antonyzyn). Jason hasn’t lived there since before the accident that caused his permanent amnesia, after which he changed his name from Quartermaine to Morgan and became a lethal mafia enforcer. Now that he’s back, he’ll get to partake in the traditional family infighting and perhaps have a slice of Thanksgiving pizza.

Keeping things in the family

On Burton’s podcast Daily Drama, which he co-hosts with his castmate Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli), he talked about recently running into Jane Elliot (Tracy) backstage, and they reminisced about his early days on General Hospital. Burton explained, "I was just talking to Jane Elliott about it…me and Tracy have…some funny scenes. Well, she's funny. So that's a good spoiler right there. She goes, ‘Oh, I had so much fun doing scenes with you…last week.'"

Burton explained that he was reminded of holidays spent in the mansion’s foyer or the den. "I said, 'I know you probably had a great time before I got here, but when we were, as the Quartermaine family, together, there's so many memories.' She goes, 'No, that was definitely a special time for everybody.' So it was just it's just cool. It's just cool that we're still doing it, you know?" Burton added.

Anderson explained that he had watched some old episodes where Tracy was bickering with her brother Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon), who had died but appeared to her as a ghost.

Anderson mentioned the fact that John Ingle who played the patriarch of the Quartermaine clan, Edward Quartermaine, was in those scenes. He also referenced Laura Lynn "Bergen" Williams, who played the Quartermaine’s hilarious maid and part-time wrestler, Alice Gunderson. Burton responded:

I miss them, you know? It was a special time for sure.

With Jason living in the mansion, it’s going to be really interesting to see Tracy’s reaction, which will undoubtedly be hilarious. She never liked him after he went to work for Sonny, and she knows he would never hurt her, so her verbal barbs against him are going to be worse than the insane hailstorm that struck Bangladesh’s Gopalganj district in April 1986.
