Everything old may soon be new again for General Hospital's Elizabeth now that she is single and three of her exes are back on the Port Charles scene.
Does General Hospital's Elizabeth need a love life?
Now that Elizabeth and Finn's ill-fated romance is finally over, Liz finds herself suddenly single—but that doesn't mean she'll stay that way for long. She might have several contenders for the boyfriend title, and she's been married to two of them and shares a child with another. Should Elizabeth look to the past to find a new man for her future? Let's examine her status with each of these three men.
Lucky Spencer
Lucky and Liz were one another's first loves. They met in high school, and Lucky was there for Elizabeth while she recovered from a brutal rape when she was still a teen. The pair dreamed of a life together, but everything was cut short when Lucky was presumed dead.
When he returned very much alive, Lucky was a shadow of his former self. He and Elizabeth tried to make a go of it several times and even married eventually, but his erratic behavior and drug use split them apart. The last time they were together, Elizabeth had an affair with his brother, Nikolas. When Lucky learned the truth, things were never the same again. In August, Lucky is set to return to Port Charles for the first time in nine years. Could they put the bad blood behind them and resume a romance?
Ric Lansing
Ric and Elizabeth met way back in 2002 and quickly fell for one another. They married in 2003 and again in 2004, but they could also never stay together—mainly because of Ric's nefarious ways.
In 2015, Ric returned to town, and he and Elizabeth tried their luck at love one last time. She was even ready to marry him again until she learned Ric was the one who had hired Hayden Barnes to pose as Jake Doe's long-lost wife. Liz broke things off with Ric right away—just before learning that Jake was her former love, Jason Morgan. Of course, we know now that he wasn't Jason at all, but instead, he was Jason's twin, Drew Cain. With Ric also returning to Port Charles this month, will he set his sights on Elizabeth?
Jason Morgan
Elizabeth and Jason became friends soon after Lucky's presumed death in 1999. Although they had feelings for one another, they didn't act on them before Lucky turned up alive. Through the years, Jason and Elizabeth had many stops and starts that resulted in a night that gave them their son, Jake.
When Elizabeth believed amnesiac Jake Doe was Jason, she thought it was finally their chance to be together without the pull of Sonny, Carly, and the mob in their way. When the real Jason returned, Liz was already with the late Franco Baldwin. Now, Jason is back and single, and Elizbeth is also single. There is currently nothing in the way of them being together. Is now finally their time, or will Elizabeth's other exes vie for her attention? Time will tell.
