“We found the most magical furever home for her” - General Hospital alum Vanessa Marcil helps rehome a rescue dog

General Hospital’s Vanessa Marcil, who played the incredibly popular Brenda Barrett, has joined the ranks of fellow soap stars who help find homes for wayward dogs and cats. She’s been posting success stories about dogs who needed a forever home, and how many of them have found one.

She recently shared a pic on Instagram of a cute doggie named Dame Judy (Guapa) and wrote, “Please contact @socalfrenchbdrescue to get on the list to qualify for the adoption of my love #NudyJudyGuapa.” Marcil has been active with the SoCal French Bulldog rescue, and has posted several success stories as well as Dame Judy as she stayed with Marcil as a foster dog.

Now, the pooch’s prayers have been answered as Marcil took to Instagram again to share:

I’ve never been so bombarded with love & so many DM’s asking about Dame Judy (Guapa) This photo is the last time I saw her. After considering several others, MC and I did a home visit and met the whole family.

She continued to explain, “Her mom Megan met me at this park a week later to take The Guap home. I went early to sit with Dame Judy and explain to her everything that was happening. She looked so calm & excited. We found the most magical furever home for her.”

Marcil continued to explain that Dame Judy had a couple of siblings that were also French bulldogs, adding, “Her supermodel career mom goes above and beyond to look out for her and Dame Judy has a grandma too!!!!! They enjoy going to the park and the beach! Judy is getting her own wetsuit I hear to protect her delicate skin. 😎.

Marcil promised to post updates whenever she could, and added, “Thank the beautiful angels on earth rescues @socalfrenchbdrescue & @california_cleft_pup_rescue_."

She also shared a heartfelt pitch for fans to help rescue these cute pups:

The General Hospital alum also thanked everyone who helped to find homes for the lovable doggies.
