General Hospital's Lulu Spencer finally has a new liver but still lingers in a coma. When her mother, Laura (Genie Francis), got the news that Lulu's transplant was a success, she implored her daughter to wake up, but it wasn't meant to be — yet. Now we know when All My Children alum Alexa Havins will finally debut as Luke and Laura's only daughter.
Is Lulu Spencer ready to wake?
Havins will appear as the new Lulu on Monday, November 18, according to TV Guide Magazine and reported by Soap Opera Network. Does that mean that Lulu will wake on Monday, or is it the first time we will see Havins as a still-comatose Lulu?

When Laura begged Lulu to wake, she told her that Sam (Kelly Monaco) had sacrificed her life to give her a part of her liver. Laura didn't want Sam's death to be in vain, feeling it would be worth something if Lulu didn't spend the rest of her life in a coma.
Lulu entered her coma in 2020 after an explosion at the Floating Rib. She seemed fine immediately following the blast, but a head injury caught up with her a few hours later as she stood in the hospital chapel trying to tell Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that she still loved him.
When Lulu wakes, she will learn that life went on without her. Her two children are now teenagers, and Dante fell in love with and is now mourning Sam.
From All My Children to General Hospital
Havins got her soap start as Babe Carey ABC's now-defunct All My Children. She played Babe from 2003 to 2007. All My Children was also where she met her husband, Justin Bruening, who played Jamie Martin on the soap.
The couple also shares three children together, which was why Havins has not worked as much over the last decade. However, she did appear opposite her husband on the Netflix series Sweet Magnolias. She told TV Guide that she thought that would be the cap on her acting career.
"When they asked me to play Justin’s ex [Vicky], I said to him, 'Oh, this will wrap it up in a little bow," Havins said. "It’ll be sweet for the kids. We met on the first thing I did and [worked together] on the last thing I did."
Fate had other plans, and Havins is now back in the soap world, ready to bring Lulu to life. For Laura Collins and Lulu's children, it couldn't come a moment too soon.
