General Hospital stars Maurice Benard and Bryan Craig plan something special for fans
In August, General Hospital's Maurice Benard and Bryan Craig will reunite on-screen—and off—for two very different reasons.
Craig will bring Morgan Corinthos back to the Port Charles scene for one episode in August, presumably as a ghost, since the character was killed in 2016 (but a body was never found). He will also reunite with his on-screen dad Maurice Benard for a very special episode of State of Mind with Maurice Benard.
As part of the official GH fan club weekend, Benard will interview Craig on a live version of State of Mind.

"OK, so this is the deal," Benard wrote on Instagram. "A lot has happened in the last month, with me, and with Bryan. If you want to hear all about it, live and in living color. Also great General Hospital stuff."
The special State of Mind taping will take place on August 3 at the Embassy Suites in Glendale, CA, from 6-8 PM ET. You can purchase tickets for the event here.
Benard shared a clip of the last time Craig appeared on his mental health-focused YouTube series three years ago. In the clip, Craig talked about how his real-life anxiety has helped with his acting.
In 2016, Craig left GH after three years in a story similar to what is happening to Sonny now. Ava switched Morgan's bipolar medications with placebos, causing him to become erratic and steal Julian's car, not knowing there was a car bomb inside. In the current story, Ava switched Sonny's bipolar meds with placebos, even though Valentin started it all by paying a pharmacist to reduce Sonny's dosage.
Will Sonny reach rock bottom and receive a ghostly visit from Morgan to guide him out of his dark place? Stay tuned to find out.
