The General Hospital Cast is in Memphis, Tennessee, at The Guest House at Graceland, and we had our costume contest. They added a little more fun to the contest with playing musical chairs for the contestants. Can you name the GH Cast winner?
Depicted in the video were several fans on stage in costume, along with Scarlett Fernandez (Charlotte Cassadine), Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones), Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford), Evan Hofer (Dex Heller), Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli), and Giovanni Mazza (Gio Palmieri). The cast members were playing musical chairs, and, of course, the song used for the game was Jesse’s Girl by General Hospital alum Rick Springfield. The song would slow down and speed up, adding tension as the stars waltzed around several chairs vying for the top spot.
The first to be eliminated was Storms, who lost to young Fernandez. Storms was heard telling someone off-camera:
I couldn’t knock her out of the way!
On the next round, the song sped up, and it was hilarious watching the actors try to move as fast as they could while still hoping to grab a chair. Fernandez was the next one out as Turner bumped her aside to take a seat. While laughing, he shouted an apology at her, and the DJ jokingly said:
What a jerk!
The pressure was on as it was then down to four actors. When the music stopped this time, Anderson tried jumping into a chair and landed on Hofer’s lap. He started to fall off as Hofer caught him, and Anderson said into the mic:
Oh man! He’s so strong!
With only two chairs left, Turner, Hofer, and Mazza moved cautiously, each ready to grab a seat when the music stopped. This time, as Hofer tried to jump onto a chair, he was bumped off by Mazza, and the DJ shouted:
Serves you right! Serves you right!
As the last two actors prepared to battle it out over the remaining seat, Mazza gave Turner a gentlemanly handshake, and the game was on. The two rounded the chair to the music, and Mazza raised his arms to the audience so they would start cheering loudly. The two men sauntered smoothly around the chair, and each prepared to grab the seat at any moment. Turner was clearly determined to win as he kept putting his hand on the seat.
The music finally stopped, and Turner jumped into it before Mazza had a chance. The audience roared with laughter.
The fans loved the fact that Springfield’s song was used, many deeming it wholly appropriate. Several viewers got Fernandez’s identity completely wrong, thinking she was another young girl from General Hospital. The tension had fans on the edge of their seats as @bduvallx50 wrote:

And @julie.fulbright summed up the collective followers’ feelings with:
