“Such a special place for us” -- Disney is the Happiest Place on Earth for These Two General Hospital Stars

Even General Hospital stars need to take a vacation from time to time. Recently, two actors from the show took to social media to share the fun time they each had with their respective families. Risa Dorken (Amy) went to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and Steve Burton (Jason) went to Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Let’s take a look at what each star shared.

Steve Burton

On Instagram, Burton wrote, “A beautiful day at the happiest place @disneyland with our favorite people. #birthdaycelebration, #gh #generalhoapital, #disneylandCalifornia, #grateful.” Along with that was a montage of photographs of him, his fiance Michelle Lundstrom, and their collective families set to a song called Along the Way by a band called The Hunts.

@beedledees enthusiastically remarked, “It makes me so happy seeing you so happy! 🥹 Y'all are such a cute couple!” While fan, @jeanniepalmer14, responded, “I am so happy to see you and your loved ones doing something fun and together. Enjoy your weekend!”

The video wasn’t just static photos; it also included several clips of the General Hospital star's blended family enjoying all the rides, desserts, and more that the famed theme park had to offer. Instagram user @alfenza commented, “Disney looks good on you guys!”

Risa Dorken

General Hospital’s Risa Dorken’s Instagram post was a much more detailed account of her and her husband Bo Clark’s trip to Disney World. Included in it were quite a few photos and video clips of the happy couple enjoying their time at the various parks within. She captioned it, “Disney World! It was the first trip we took as a couple 14 years ago (see last pic.) Such a special place for us- but we hadn’t been back since! We had the best time. 🎉💗🐭🏰.”

•Magic Kingdom: Tron is the craziest ride I think I’ve ever been on! SO FUN! But dangg. I had tears & drool streaming down my face. Haha I didn’t know anything about it going in!

•Epcot: Bo loved the Guardians ride, but it made this gal real dizzy. 💫 Get the pretzel bread pudding in Germany! Yum.

•Animal Kingdom: Pandora is my favorite “land” I’ve seen. Avatar Flight of Passage was Incredible!✨ liiike I could & maybe *did* cry during it. And! We were able to see/experience “It’s tough to be a bug” one last time! (it closes in March🥲)

•Hollywood Studios: if you can only do 1 ride, do Mickey & Minnie’s runaway railway. (It’s at Disneyland too) it’s the perfect ride for everyone & one of my all time faves.
