Scarlett Fernandez teases her General Hospital return

General Hospital fans were happy to see Scarlett Fernandez back on the show as Charlotte in December 2024. Lulu (Alexa Havins) has been determined to bring her daughter home because Charlotte has been on the run with her father Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). What Lulu doesn’t know is that after Valentin tried to kill Brennan (then-Charles Mesure, now Chris McKenna), he’s been on the WSB’s kill list. That means they’re sending assassins to eliminate Valentin, so Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jason (Steve Burton) are racing to find them before Charlotte becomes collateral damage. With all that going on, Fernandez’s social media post excited the fans.

Fugitives return

On Instagram, General Hospital’s Scarlett Fernandez shared a picture of herself in front of the ABC studio with the giant General Hospital sign on the building, and the caption, “Happy Monday. #scarlettischarlotte #gh #generalhospital.”

Her fans were elated as @bonstancesakow enthusiastically commented, “Wooohooo!!” @shehanteresa followed suit with, “Excited to have you back on GH! 🙌❤️.” Speaking for many fans, @garyobtien19 responded, “Welcome back!!!! It’s about time!”

Excited for Charlotte’s upcoming tale, @tangelalways wrote, “Welcome back! Your story on #GH is always so interesting ❤️😍.” Since Charlotte always calls her dad ‘Papa,’ @me_and_savvy replied, “Hope you brought Papa with you.”

Charlotte’s family has been in disarray ever since Lulu landed in a coma four years ago. But now that she’s back, she’s been relentless in her pursuit of her daughter, and @dmarino15 shared the sanguine comment: “So happy to have Charolette back. Hopefully to be permanently reunited with her Mom.”

Anna knows that Charlotte would be severely damaged mentally if assassins take out Valentin right in front of her. Anna also still feels guilt at accidentally shooting the girl when she thought Charlotte was an intruder, so bringing her back to Lulu will help alleviate some of Anna’s guilt. In contrast, Valentin should already know that he’s on the kill list, and if Jason and Anna approach him, he might be inclined to let Charlotte go with them to keep her safe.

Until now, Charlotte had chosen to be with Valentin, but as the situation gets deadlier, she could be open to returning to Port Charles. One possible scenario that might tug at the heartstrings of General Hospital fans would be for Valentin to get shot just as Jason and Anna arrive, and the two of them must get Charlotte out of harm’s way, leaving Valentin’s fate up in the air.

It’s unknown how long Fernandez’s return will be, but it’s definitely going to bring excitement!
