Capodice only appeared on a handful of GH episodes between 1994 and 1996 as the Brooklyn dad of Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer). He was there for Lois' big Bensonhurst wedding to Ned back in 1995, sharing scenes with Ellen Travolta's Gloria Cerullo.

Capodice's time on GH introduced us to Lois' colorful parents who were always there for her, welcoming old friend Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) into the clan as well. Capodice and Travolta provided always-welcome comic relief from the soapy drama during his memorable time, introducing the audience to Lois' Brooklyn roots.

When Carmine returned to GH and Port Charles in 2024 for Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn's (Amanda Setton) wedding, he was played by George Russo.

GH wasn't the only soap where daytime fans were able to enjoy Capodice's work. He also had small roles in Another World, As the World Turns, and Ryan's Hope.

According to IMDB, his first on-screen credit was in the 1978 film Rush It. However, you've also seen him in such flicks as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Honeymoon In Vegas, Jacob's Ladder, and Gremlins 2: The New Batch.

Capodice's television credits include iconic shows like Knot's Landing, Murphy Brown, Law and Order, Hunter, Seinfeld, LA Law, Melrose Place, NYPD Blue, Boy Meets World, Mad About You, Will & Grace, Wizards of Waverly Place, and Monk. The actor's last credit was just last year on Conversations With Mobster.

According to his obituary, Capodice was "a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all who had the pleasure to meet him."

Capodice is survived by his wife, Jane, and his daughters, Tessa De Pierro and Cassandra Hansen, as well as grandchildren David, Jake, Frankie, and Giuliana.
