General Hospital fans were introduced to a brand-new comical character last week when Felicia spotted a rival private investigator across the Metro Court dining room.
General Hospital casts Judy Kain as Elaine
Elaine, with her little dog, Mavis, in hand, soon cornered Felicia (Kristina Wagner). She had to know who the handsome man was that Carly (Laura Wright) was talking to. Felicia informed Elaine there was nothing scandalous going on, and Carly was only talking to her brother, Lucas. (Van Hansis), who happened to be gay.
Later, Elaine followed Carly to Brennan's (Charles Mesure) hotel room, where she snapped a few pics and handed them off to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). He had hired her to poke holes in Sonny's (Maurice Benard) alibi for the night that John Cates (Adam Harrington) was killed.

Elaine's job and time on GH seemed to be over, but Elaine and Mavis showed up again on October 15. This time, Ned (Wally Kurth) hired her to prove that Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) were having an affair.
It looks like Elaine, played by Judy Kain, is here to stay—at least for now. What other Port Charles citizens might need her services?
