Jonathan Jackson finally made his 2024 General Hospital return on August 22, but a few days later, he brought another actor with him. Sawandi Wilson debuted as Lucky's good friend Isaiah on August 26, and he couldn't be happier.
General Hospital welcomes a new player
After his first scenes aired, Wilson took to Instagram with a very special message for those who have supported his career.
"I just want to say thank you to everybody that supported me from the very beginning," Wilson said in a video. "From Battle of the Year to Harlem...to Star Trek to now, General Hospital. It is streaming on Hulu and ABC...and I'm really excited guys. Everybody's been amazing and I got to do some really cool stuff so tune in and take a look."

While not much is known about Isaiah and how he fits into Lucky's life, Wilson's life has been playing out with a plethora of acting roles for years. GH fans can catch him in a variety of TV series, including Bull, The House of Flowers, Quantico, and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.
Earlier this year, Wilson had a key role in the series finale of Star Trek: Discovery, where he played Captain Leto. In May, Wilson shared two behind-the-scenes photos from that appearance and thanked his co-stars.

According to Wilson's official website, he is also an accomplished breakdancer and dance teacher who has taught dance workshops in Haiti and Spain.
On GH, Lucky and Isaiah have found themselves in a precarious situation in Somalia, but Lucky is determined for them to escape. Little do they know that Lucky's mother, Laura, is on her way to bring her son home. With Lucky's sister, Lulu, needing a liver transplant, Lucky may be her only hope. Will Isaiah return to Port Charles with Lucky? He seems to be a doctor, so he'd find himself right at home at General Hospital.
