General Hospital fans are well aware that the show’s star, Maurice Benard (Sonny), has a YouTube mental health-related talk series that he hosts called State of Mind. Since 2020, Benard has had a litany of guests and has been raising awareness for mental health issues. But fans may not know that he’s had another show going that’s also a talk series, but is very different from State of Mind.
It’s all about relationships
General Hospital fans may be surprised to learn that Benard has had another show and has been recording it since October 2023. The show is co-hosted by celebrity realtor Anna Damergis and is called Maurice & Anna. Current at the time, Damergis posted on Instagram a video preview with the caption, “Now on @knekttv @themauriceandannashow with 3x Emmy Winning Actor and Mental Health Advocate @mauricebenard and Award Winning Actress/Producer @annadamergis come together to host a talk show! Real life stories and relationships. Nothing is off limits during these open and honest conversations between real life friends and special celebrity guests.” After all, the hashtags were, “Real Friends! Real Stories! Lots of Laughs!”

In the video, the narrator states, “Get ready for love stories that tug at your heartstrings. And relationship insights that changed the game. All packed into our 2nd episode. Join us on the 2nd episode of Maurice and Anna's show.” Interspersed in that is Damergis asking Benard if he believed in “love at first sight,” and he replied, “Was it love at first sight? Or was it lust at first sight?” She then states, “You help me in the dating world, you're gonna help me find a husband, you're gonna help me act better.”
Apparently, the show is on KNEKT TV and is behind a paywall on their website. But now, the show announced on Instagram that it will be more widely available, writing, “We are launching our first episode on @youtube on 1/31/25!” They also shared, “@themauriceandannashow is filled with authentic conversations between real friends! Come laugh & spend time with us as we share some of [our] most personal stories.”
It’s surprising that General Hospital’s Maurice Benard hasn’t been promoting the show before, but it’s most likely because it was only available to a limited audience until now. If fans couldn’t get enough of Benard between General Hospital and State of Mind, they’ve got a triple threat now and will be over the moon when Maurice & Anna comes to YouTube.
