General Hospital seems to have been grooming Jack Brennan to be the next Robert Scorpio. He’s a spy for the WSB who's been building major inroads in Port Charles including recruiting college student Josslyn Jacks for the Bureau and secretly sending her to spy school.

Meanwhile, Jack's portrayer, Chris McKenna has been active on social media, especially recently as he’s been sharing videos of his adorable baby. He also shared a video explaining how he’s helping his hometown arts program.

General Hospital star works hard for his hometown

McKenna posted a video on Instagram with the caption, “I made this ad for the Watertown High School Theater Dept. which is opening Phantom of the Opera tonight! Please support the arts programs in your communities before they all disappear. Your kids will thank you. #SupportTheArts #GH #bts #Audiobooks #podcast #WorldOfHurt www.Watertown-Arts.com #HighSchoolTheater.”

In McKenna’s video filmed outside the GH studio, he said: “Hi guys, my name is Chris McKenna. I'm a Watertown High School alum and actor who got his start on this very stage, and I'm coming to you live from ABC's General Hospital. My production company, Watertown Arts, has partnered with local award-winning author Thomas Tessier.”

McKenna walked all through the studio, giving fans a glimpse of the sets. As he continued talking, various posters that corresponded with what he was describing popped up on the screen. He added, “We have made the Thomas Tessier World of Hurt podcast, also produced some of his audiobooks, including his very first novel called The Fates, which takes place right there in Naugatuck Valley in the 1980s.” A poster for the audiobook version appeared and he pointed to it to emphasize Naugatuck Valley.

McKenna continued to explain that he recruited students from Watertown High School to do some voiceover work on the audiobook. He also revealed that Watertown Arts would be donating the proceeds to the Watertown High Theater Department.

"So, I would never have been able to have the career I've had without the support of my parents and the arts programs in and around Watertown growing up," McKenna said.
