General Hospital star Cameron Mathison has overcome a major tragedy lately after his house was destroyed in the LA wildfire. Despite the devastation, he shared some positive words with his fans and continues to move forward. While his character, Drew, spirals out of control, Mathison himself has focused more on his well-being and shared the results with his fans.
For General Hospital's Mathison, Fitness is his happy hour
Set to the tune of Vivaldi’s Winter Drill #2 by Turkish artist Veneris, Mathison posted a montage of pictures on Instagram. The photos depict his rigorous workout, which includes kettlebells, dumbbells, pushing heavy weights on a cart, and more, with his impressive physique on display. He wrote:

"Comin' back stronger, Mind and body
-meditate
-eat clean
-lift weights
-drink water
-sleep
-long walks
-pray
-help others"
His words likely had a double meaning: He’s not only returning to work physically stronger, but he’s also coming back from the wildfire tragedy mentally stronger, as illustrated by the regimen he outlined.
Co-star Finola Hughes (Anna) responded simply, “Nice,” with Mathison coming back with a heart emoji. Producer Randall C. James, who shares deep Hollywood roots with General Hospital star Kin Shriner (Scotty), exuberantly commented, “DUDE!!! 💪💪💪.” Another co-star, Eva LaRue (Natalia), loved his words and replied, “The perfect recipe for healing🤗♥️.”
Across the board, Mathison’s followers were impressed by his amazing snaps, including The Bold and the Beautiful’s Don Diamont (Bill), who shared the emojis: “💪🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼.” A personal trainer named Jake Vega, who is followed by Mathison and his wife Vanessa Mathison, wrote, “Drippin in that @asrv 🔥,” and Mathison replied with some fist emojis to emphasize strength. ASRV is a brand of watches made especially for athletes and people who are into athletics and staying in shape.
Meanwhile, follower @audreyfafard replied, “Proud of you🙏🏽I’ve been praying for you & fam soo much,” to which Mathison responded, “@audreyfafard 🙏🏼❤️.” Actor Victor Webster, who recently starred opposite Days of Our Lives’ Alison Sweeney in One Bad Apple: A Hannah Swenson Mystery and the upcoming Reality Bites: A Hannah Swenson Mystery, simply wrote, “🦾,” and Mathison responded with his usual, “@iamvictorwebster 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼.”
Another fan, @kimbroadhead7760, responded with, “You certainly are...in more ways than one! So thankful you have what is most important, and God can see you through this season!🙏💪❤️.” And @sachabiyan remarked about how Mathison's post affected him, commenting, "Amazing & inspiring! Mind over matter 👊♥️."
