Between trying out a new look and subsequently celebrating her birthday, General Hospital’s Kirsten Storms (Maxie) never seems to slow down. Except when she has to wait for something. She recently shared a video on social media where she became very comfortable waiting for her daughter to get out of school, and her fans could totally relate.

There was a lot she could do

On Instagram, Storms shared a video and wrote, “I thought I would never figure out the correct timing for the school pickup line. Today I realized something…waiting in the car doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Also, yes I am talking while eating a cookie. So, I added captions. Let’s not focus on that and instead be slightly impressed that I understood Harper’s instructions on how to use CapCut to make this video.”

In the video, she said, “Okay, new plan I wanted to share with other moms. But sorry for the weird camera angle. I'm in the school pickup line. And I'm thinking, this isn't bad. The 15-minute wait parked in the car. I have Harper's iPad. I'm watching Netflix. Obsess.”

She realized that waiting was actually a good thing because there was so much she could do to occupy her time. She continued by explaining her next course of action: “I might become the first parent in line. I'll wait here for half an hour. I also have my crochet. There are other moms that do this. I'm late to the game.”

Co-star Bradford Anderson, who plays Maxie’s love interest, Spinelli, shared a simple clapping emoji. Finola Hughes (Anna) also chimed in with, “Very noisy snacks!!!” a comment on the crunching and bag krinkling that was going on while Storms was talking.

@mommycontreras4 understood what Storms was getting at and commented, “Been first mom in line forever…It’s my nap time or I’m watching GH on Hulu. I’m a working, soccer, marching band mom so I call this my ‘ME’ time.” Storms responded to that with, “@mommycontreras4 We need to normalize this mom break. I’m going to spread the word.”

Another fan, @kinsleys_mommy321, wrote, “I show up half an hour early for peace and quiet and a good parking spot,” and several other moms stated that they did the same thing for the same reason.

And @brigette912 shared a comment that many of Storms’ other followers agreed wholeheartedly with: “Literally the most peaceful part of my day 😂.”
