What to expect on General Hospital

Anna (Finola Hughes) is desperate to save Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) but Jason (Steve Burton) is determined to stop her. As far as he knows, Valentin is the enemy — at least according to Sonny (Maurice Benard). While Anna realizes that Valentin had been trying to kill Jack (Chris McKenna) and not Carly (Laura Wright), he still got to Carly, which is taboo in Jason's world. Sonny told him to let Jack "finish the job" and he is determined to do just that.

Jack has a gun trained on Valentin, who may find he is finally at the end of the road. Perhaps he will pull an Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) and jump into the river to save himself. Then, he can wake up with amnesia for a year.

Chase makes a move

After Brook Lynn's (Amanda Setton) confession that Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is the father of the child she gave up for adoption while in high school, Chase (Josh Swickard) is determined to make things better for his wife. While he feels Dante should know the truth, he also understands Brook Lynn's reasons for keeping it quiet. To that end, he visits Lulu (Alexa Havins) to ask her not to open her big mouth and tell Dante something that she shouldn't even know.

Brook Lynn has her own dramatic confrontation when she demands that Lois (Rena Sofer) tell her what else she is hiding about her baby. If she knew the sex, then does Lois know where Brook Lynn's son ended up? We know he is right there in the house with her but will Brook Lynn remain oblivious? Lois still hasn't even told Brook Lynn precisely why she told her story to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).

Sonny's poor heart?

Sonny and Laura (Genie Francis) reconnect and update one another on their meeting with Valentin during this extremely busy night. Laura is surprised when Sonny agrees to take her advice and wonders why he is not fighting her.

Will Sonny tell her about his heart condition? He already confessed to Kristina (Kate Mansi) that very same night, despite that episode airing a week ago. He may as well open up to others.
