It's finally time for Sonny's (Maurice Benard) surgery, and Carly (Laura Wright) is right there by his side for the trip, but she can't keep an eye on him every second. Now that Natalia (Eve LaRue) opened her big mouth and told Sidwell (Carlo Rota) that Sonny had a heart condition and was scheduled for surgery, anything can happen and does.

Someone sneaks into Sonny's room with a syringe full of something mysterious. We're sure it can't be Digitalis because we just did this recently, but why not have someone inject Sonny's IV with something that could kill him? It worked for our last big surgery story. Will anyone come along to save Sonny in time?

Deception deceived

Back in Port Chales, the Deception ladies are still reeling from the news that Natalia was once married to Sidwell. Even Lucy (Lynn Hering) is bothered by this and makes a decision with her business partners.

Maxie (Kirsten Storms) tells Natalia that she is fired from Deception, effective immediately, with Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Lucy cheering her on. Natalia looks stunned, but she should have expected this. Imagine her surprise if Carly ever learns she spilled Sonny's secret to his newest worst enemy.

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) seems to realize that she has been making decisions about her children without consulting their father, to whom she still happens to be married. So what if she is shacking up with his uncle? Willow decides she needs to finally see Michael, so she flies off to Germany to do just that. Will she mention that she signed away rights to their kids to that same uncle?

Back in Port Charles, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) finds something shocking in a file while she's sitting at the hospital. Does she learn that Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) wanted to have Kristina (Kate Mansi) committed? That could lead Molly down an investigative path. Alexis won't like what she finds at the end of it — but neither will Ric (Rick Hearst) and Ava (Maura West).
