What to expect on General Hospital

After that stunning meeting with Ava (Maura West), Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had to absorb what she had just learned. Her daughter tried to kill someone and nearly killed two other innocent people. Alexis immediately thinks of the legal ramifications and tells Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) that she needs a lawyer, but Diane might have different advice.

As we saw in the GH weekly promo earlier this week, Diane tells Alexis that it might be time to take drastic action. Does Diane try to get Alexis to see that Kristina needs serious help and not just of the legal kind? Could Ava's blackmail plan end up backfiring if Alexis helps Kristina (Kate Mansi) plead temporary insanity?

Politician problems

Carly (Laura Wright) takes Jack's (Chris McKenna) advice and confronts Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) — and loudly so, as Carly is apt to do. Willow is still full of herself, believing she's done nothing wrong, so she can't understand why her mother-in-law is shouting in her face so rudely.

Willow ain't seen nothing yet because Carly is about to take things to the next level. It will take Jason (Steve Burton) to stop her. What will Drew (Cameron Mathison) do while all of this happens in his house?

Laura (Genie Francis) also has some troubles due to a smarmy politician, but Curtis (Donnell Turner) is determined to make sure that Drew and Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) do nothing that could hurt Laura. Portia (Brook Kerr) doesn't tell Curtis about her own major problems with Congressman Cutthroat.

Emma's lies

Anna (Finola Hughes) just wants answers from Emma (Braedyn Bruner), but she is afraid she is not going to get them unless she plays bad cop and becomes demanding. She tells Emma that everything she has told her about what happened at Berkeley has been a lie, and she just wants the full story now. Will Emma finally spill?

Meanwhile, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) learns more about her first assignment for the WSB and asks Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) if this was why she was specifically recruited. Does her first assignment have anything to do with Emma? There has to be a reason the frenemy relationship between the two girls has been re-established.
