General Hospital spoilers tease tension and fear as Kristina undergoes an emergency C-section and Ava finds herself in the hot seat.
Kristina's life on the line on General Hospital
When Molly hears what happened to Kristina, she rushes to the hospital and begs T.J. for reassurance that her sister and the baby will be okay. T.J. can't give her what she's looking for, but at least she can provide some answers.
Alexis explains that Kristina was in Ava's Metro Court suite when her plunge into the pool happened. However, Alexis doesn't know why Kristina was there. Molly does, as she was in Kristina's apartment when the subpoena from Ava arrived. Molly knows right away that Kristina had been confronting Ava because Kristina didn't want to be forced to testify against her own father at Avery's custody hearing.
Sonny might have promised Kristina that she wouldn't have to testify—he would make sure of it. That wasn't good enough for Kristina, and she was determined to give Ava a piece of her mind. Now, she and the baby might pay for that action with their lives.
The family waits anxiously for news, and finally the doctor arrives. Are Kristina and the baby okay? Will this be the second time in a little over two years that GH kills a full-term baby due to a placental abruption? Fans have barely recovered from Sasha and Brando's tragic loss of baby Liam.
Ava needs to watch her back
Perhaps Ava should not have closed those curtains, because it was the first indication Dante had that she was lying about what happened to Kristina. Now, she finds herself at the Port Charles Police Station, being questioned for attempted murder. Scott finally makes it to Ava's side to defend her and insists to Chase that Kristina's fall was an accident.
Ava is sent to lockup, where Trina visits Ava and asks what really happened. Ava still claims the whole thing was an accident, but Trina is not sure she believes Ava. She is starting to doubt everything she ever thought she knew about Ava.
Finally, Ava needs to brace herself for Sonny's wrath. A few months ago, Ava was living comfortably in Sonny's penthouse while he depended on her for everything, and now Sonny is vowing revenge for Kristina's fall.
