General Hospital spoilers sneak peek: A new man for Nina, a new plan for Drew

What to expect on General Hospital

Nina (Cynthia Watros) welcomes a new man into the Crimson offices played by Golden Bachelorette runner-up Guy Gansert. The former doctor makes a one-day appearance on GH this week as an environmental journalist named Geoffrey who meets with Nina. He will also get to know Ava (Maura West), but not before Nina flirts with the handsome writer.

Nina is fascinated to learn that Geoffrey is single. After all, she has been a lonely woman since divorcing Sonny (Maurice Benard) and discovering that Drew (Cameron Mathison) is the louse she always thought he was. Will Geoffrey pop back into the Crimson offices again and become a new friend for Nina when she needs one?

Curtis and Laura come down on Drew

Curtis (Donnell Turner) just can't stop making Drew's life worse. While Portia (Brook Kerr) plans to convince Curtis to be nicer to Drew this week, Curtis has other things in mind. Tracy's (Jane Elliot) encounter with Drew at the Quartermaine crypt makes it into the Invader, which is just what Curtis wants.

When Laura (Genie Francis) sees the unflattering story that paints Drew as a man who argues with old ladies, she is highly amused. She is also quite impressed with Curtis for pulling this off. The mayor does not like the new congressman and is happy to see him suffer, even if it is in the most petty of ways.

Luck for Elizabeth

Laura gets around this week when she intrudes on Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) and Elizabeth's (Rebecca Herbst) alone time. Lucky is recovering nicely from his near-death experience, with Liz happy to let him recuperate at her place. Of course, Laura is a doting mother who wants to make sure that her son is okay.

When Laura finally leaves Lucky and Elizabeth alone, will their feelings for one another bubble to the surface again? Elizabeth was frantic when she nearly lost Lucky and may finally realize he has always been the man for her after all. Is a new-old romance on its way for the former high school sweethearts?
