General Hospital spoilers preview: The fight for Michael's kids...and Sonny's life

General Hospital sneak peek

Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) and Lucas (Van Hansis) rush to Michael's (Chad Duell) side when they notice something off with his machines and his I.V. While it appears they manage to counteract the Digitalis, they have no idea of the scene going on by the elevators.

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is asserting her authority over Michael's medical care, baffling Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard). Carly has no idea why Willow would do such a thing. Not only does she want to make medical decisions for Carly's son, but she is trying to keep her family from seeing him.

Carly tries to appeal to Willow's better angels to see if she can solve this problem. While Willow seems conflicted and ready to cave, Drew (Cameron Mathison) steps in. He is the one who planted this idea in Willow's head and is determined to see it through. Drew tells Carly that Willow will work with her if she just gives Willow her children back.

Sonny's heart

The stress over Michael's plight doesn't appear to be doing any favors for Sonny's heart. Sonny has seemed to put that on the back burner for now as he deals with what happened to his son. Isaiah warned him to be careful, but Sonny doesn't like to ever show his mortality. However, his heart doesn't want to cooperate.

Sonny has another attack when he leaves the Quartermaine mansion in the dark. Will anyone see him and help him, or is Sonny on his own? At least Jason (Steve Burton) now lives back home in his mother's house and is aware of Sonny's heart condition. Will Jason end up saving Sonny's life?

A big surprise for Trina

Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) share more close moments this week, but this time Kai has news for Trina. He might not be a Port Charles University student much longer. In fact, if he wins the next big game, he will have to make a big decision. Does he stay in college or play professional football?

Trina is taken aback by this news as she thinks college is much more important than sports. She also has been developing feelings for Kai and does not want to lose his friendship.
