After all these months of trying to find a liver donor for Lulu, the donor Lulu's family needed was right there all along. Although the chances of Lulu's surgery being a success were slim, Sam (Kelly Monaco) still agreed to go through with the procedure and donate part of her liver to Lulu.

Sam and Lulu's loved ones gather at the hospital as they await news. Anna (Finola Hughes) stops by to check on Laura (Genie Francis) and vows that she will find Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). She is determined to bring Lulu's daughter home no matter what. Charlotte doesn't even know that her comatose mother's life is on the line.

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is also anxious as everyone waits. Sam's surgery is supposed to be the easy part. After all, she is young and healthy and has not been in a coma since 2020. However, that doesn't mean a mother doesn't worry. Does Alexis have more to worry about than Laura?

A Webber family reunion

Both Heather (Alley Mills) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) are shocked to see Steven (Scott Reeves) outside Pentonville. Heather is finally reunited with her first-born son, and Elizabeth has a reunion with her half-brother.

Steven gives his mother her wish and brings her straight to Bobbie's for a BLT while Elizabeth heads back to GH, worrying about what Heather might do next. Is she about to take Heather and Steven into her home? Will Ric (Rick Hearst) move in to keep everyone safe? Not if Elizabeth has anything to do with it.

Paternity answers

Nina (Cynthia Watros) is stunned when Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) stops by with some big news. She had always been a con, and tricking Nina into believing they were mother and daughter wasn't Sasha's first rodeo. In fact, she was an old pro, thanks to her mother, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms). Nina doesn't quite know what to make of Sasha's confession and wants to know why she is first telling her this now.

Sasha also learns that the DNA test results are in and runs to Robert's (Tristan Rogers) office to find out the truth. Is he her biological father?

Meanwhile, Holly stops by the Quartermaine stables to introduce herself to Cody (Josh Kelly). Does she tell him she is Sasha's mother and Robert is Sasha's father, making Cody and Sasha cousins?
