General Hospital Spoilers, October 18: The calm before the Lulu and Sam surgery storm

What to expect on General Hospital

The race to save Lulu is on now that Sam (Kelly Monaco) has been confirmed as her donor. Scout (Cosette Abinante) was the only one to ask if Sam will be okay when she heard about the surgery. Sam assured her daughter that it would be a simple procedure, but now she has to tell her mother and sisters what is happening.

When the Davis girls get together at Alexis' (Nancy Lee Grahn) house, things don't go quite as planned. Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina (Kate Mansi) clash, with Kristina once again losing her temper. Sam is there to just spend time with her family before her surgery, but her visit is fraught with strife, thanks to her warring sisters.

Tracy lends Laura support

As they await the surgery that will hopefully save Lulu's life, Tracy (Jane Elliott) and Laura (Genie Francis) spend time together and discuss the woman they both raised. Laura gave birth to Lulu, but when Laura spent years catatonic, Tracy was a stepmother to Lulu during her teenage years.

Laura and Tracy discuss their respective pasts with Luke and give each other comfort before the surgery that is set to save Lulu's life.

Elizabeth is there for Lucky

Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) planned to skip town without even saying goodbye to Aiden (Colin Cassidy), but as soon as he saw Laura, he knew he had to stay. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) tracks Lucky down at Laura's place to give him an update on Lulu.

He might not have been able to save his sister, but Sam will. Does this news give Lucky a fresh sense of hope and a desire to stay in Port Charles to get to know his family again—especially his son.

Holly's secret

Holly (Emma Samms) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) get together again, and Felicia can tell that Holly is hiding something. She encourages Holly to tell the truth, but is Holly ready to reveal that she had a daughter with Robert (Tristan Rogers)?

As for Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), she is still reeling from the news that Robert is her father, meaning she is dating her own cousin. Is Holly even telling the truth? If so, that means it really has to be over between Cody (Josh Kelly) and Sasha.
