What to expect on General Hospital

Sonny vowed that Alexis wouldn't spend the rest of her life in jail for killing John when he knew she was not the culprit. However, he has done everything possible not to implicate himself. He promised Carly that he would confess if things seemed hopeless for Alexis.

With Alexis' trial just three weeks away and Kristina's guilt weighing down hard, Sonny might feel he has no choice. When Sonny makes a big decision, does that mean he is ready to sacrifice himself for his daughter and her mother? He knows if Kristina gets loose lips, then she might also end up behind bars.

Meanwhile, Marty and Alexis meet again to strategize. He has evidence that Sonny's alibi might be a lie, but they have to figure out how to use it.

Anna has a warning

Anna did her best to get Kristina to stop talking so as not to implicate herself in a crime, but that doesn't mean that Molly's words aren't echoing in her head.

When Anna issues Carly a warning, does she say that Carly could end up in trouble right along with Sonny? Or does she warn Carly to stay away from Brennan? Anna already told Carly that Brennan is not to be trusted, but Carly doesn't seem to care. She can't stay away from the suave agent with an Australian accent.

Port Charles odd and ends

Brad was surprised to see Lucas back in town but disappointed when Lucas said there was no chance they'd ever get back together. When Brad needs someone to talk to, he oddly confides in Cody. They know each other through Brad's aunt, Selina Wu, but Cody is still an odd choice for a confidant.

When Ava has an unpleasant run-in, who does she see that will give her a hassle? Perhaps she comes face-to-face with Kristina, who still 100 percent blames her for the death of baby Irene. Kristina made that perfectly clear when she told Sonny that Ava and John were responsible for John's death, not the person who actually pulled the trigger.
