General Hospital spoilers, October 10: Lucky and Laura reunite

What to expect on General Hospital

Lucky is ready to leave Port Charles once again with an envelope of cash from Jason. However, he stops by the hospital chapel first to pray for his sister. That's where his mother finds him, and they reunite on-screen for the first time in nearly a decade.

The last time we saw Lucky and Laura together, Laura, Holly, and Luke had just rescued Lucky from kidnappers. Later, they rescued Jake from Helena, Lucky took Jake home to Elizabeth's house, and he took off for Africa. That was 2015, and Lucky is finally back.

Will Laura be able to talk her son into staying in town to be there for his son? Lucky promised Aiden he wouldn't leave again without saying goodbye. Can Laura help Lucky make good on that promise?

Elsewhere in the hospital, Dante is hopeful. Do they find another donor possibility for Lulu?

Saving Sonny

Michael and Jason both have busy days, as they have to come up with a way to free Alexis without sending Sonny to Pentonville in her place. Jason refuses to let Sonny turn himself in, so he has to somehow find the gun that Alexis tossed.

Michael is set to run interference on Thursday, but is he helping Jason with a plan, or does he cover for Sonny some more?

Saving Alexis

Meanwhile, Kristina tries to confess her part in Alexis' mess, but Anna tries to stop her. Kristina is curious why Anna doesn't want her to talk.

At least Marty thinks he finally found a solution for Alexis. Elaine the private investigator believes she can blow Sonny's alibi sky high after seeing Carly enter Brennan's room. Alexis wanted Marty to leave Sonny alone, but she might consider this good news.

Carly now knows she is in trouble and visits Sonny. She is furious that she could be in as much trouble as her ex and is not willing to go down with the ship. Sonny might have to make a rash and consequential decision.
