Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) put Maxie (Kirsten Storms) in charge of the flowers and ensuring the day goes as well as can be expected. Maxie takes the time to speak to a photo of Sam in the church before the funeral-goers arrive. She tells Sam that she wanted the arrangements to reflect her personality and chose yellow flowers because they remind her of the dress Sam wore to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase's (Josh Swickard) wedding last spring.

Alexis isn't sure how she is going to get through her first-born child's funeral and declares that she isn't ready to do this. However, Ric (Rick Hearst) is at least around as a distraction. Ric is mainly thinking about his various legal cases, so he and Alexis spar as always. Does someone make an appearance to offer Alexis the comfort she needs?

TJ (Tajh Bellow) does his best to console Molly (Kristen Vaganos), but the distance between them lately has been too great. TJ reaches out, but he may not be who and what she needs right now.

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is practically inconsolable but turns to Cody (Josh Kelly) to have someone to talk to. Dante opens up about his complicated feelings for both Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Sam. Little does he know Lulu's condition is about to change.

Anger for Danny, luck for Lucky

Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) lashes out at his Uncle Lucas (Van Hansis) when he sees him for the first time since Sam died. Danny needs to blame someone for what happened, so he takes his pain out on Lucas, the doctor who performed Sam's surgery. Lucas is already blaming himself for his sister's death, so Danny's words sting.

Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) has been contemplating leaving town since the moment he arrived back in Port Charles. Sonny (Maurice Benard) is determined to keep Lucky around, so is he the person behind Lucky's unexpected offer? Will this offer keep Lucky where he belongs? He might want to stick around for his son and his sister.
