General Hospital spoilers, January 30: Cody gets the wrong baby daddy idea

What to expect on General Hospital

If anyone in Port Charles wants any information on what goes on in the Quartermaine mansion, all they have to do is ask Gio (Giovanni Mazza). He had no problem telling Cody (Josh Kelly) that Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was pregnant. Hearing the news is a gut punch for Cody, but then he witnesses something even more shocking.

As Jason (Steve Burton) and Sasha bond over her feeling the baby move for the first time, Cody looks on and assumes that Jason must be the father of Sasha's unborn child. Does Jason decide to go along with Cody's wrong conclusion? Sasha seems alarmed after Cody is gone, so Jason promises her that he will back off if that is what Michael (Chad Duell) wants.

Since Jason is both a mobster and a Quartermaine, Sasha might not like the idea of Jason jumping in and posing as her baby daddy.

Sam's murder shocks all

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is reeling over the news that Sam (Kelly Monaco) didn't die from a natural heart attack. It was induced by Digitalis, which meant that Sam was murdered. Dante confides this information in Chase (Josh Swickard), telling him that whenever he looks at Lulu, he will always think of Sam. As cops, both Dante and Chase are determined to find the killer.

Lulu (Alexa Havins) also feels guilt and tells Maxie the disturbing news. Maxie (Kirsten Storms), who was very close friends with Sam, urged Lulu not to blame herself for what happened.

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is also still processing the news and goes ballistic in her office, throwing things everywhere. She tells her other daughters that their sister was killed, shocking Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina (Kate Mansi). Will Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) calm the remaining Davis women down?

Carly's good night?

Carly (Laura Wright) has been having quite an eventful time in Germany, as caring for Michael and Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) is keeping her on her toes. After rescuing Jack from Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), Carly finds an amorous Jack at her door.

Will their passionate kiss lead to something else, or will they pull back and settle on talking instead?
