After his latest bout of chest pains and latest collapse, Natalia (Eva LaRue) takes Sonny (Maurice Benard) back to the Metro Court to stay with him and make sure he survives the night. Brick (Stephen A. Smith) also stops by and gives Sonny a stern warning. There is more danger lurking, and they need to make sure a close call like the fire never happens again. Does Brick even know about Sonny's heart condition?

Natalia knows and does her best to talk Sonny into seeing a cardiologist right away, as Isaiah ordered. She finally gets through to Sonny, but will something else keep him from doing what is best for his health?

Does Ava get her wish?

Sonny's katest attack started when Ava (Maura West) was badgering him about Avery. She didn't make much headway, but teasers reveal that Ric (Rick Hearst) comes through for Ava.

Does he manage to get the temporary custody order that will allow her to keep Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) until the official hearing? Considering that Avery was staying with Carly (Laura Wright) and Carly was on her way to Germany, it would make sense for Avery to be with her mother while her father lived in a hotel.

How will Ava repay Ric if he gives her the good news she has been waiting to hear? Ava has also been waiting to spend more time alone with Ric, which could be in order.

Catching Cyrus

While Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) gained some insight into Cyrus' (Jeff Kober) possible motives for killing GH patients, Joss and Lucas are also on the case. When Lucas stops by Carly's place, he and Josslyn compare notes.

Will Josslyn tell Lucas that she thinks Cyrus stabbed Dex (Evan Hofer)? Lucas would understand why he used Digitalis to finish the job, but he doesn't know why Cyrus initially stabbed Dex. Plus, Josslyn doesn't even know that Dex died from a Digitalis overdose. Perhaps Lucas and Josslyn can enlighten each other, so they go down the right path. They might want to bring Lucky and Liz into this and hear what they learned from Marty (Michael E. Knight).
