General Hospital spoilers, December 9: Sonny and Kristina seem ready for revenge

What to expect on General Hospital

After watching Ava (Maura West) walk free, Kristina (Kate Mansi) is more vengeance-filled than ever. She got in a cruel dig at Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and saw nothing wrong with what she said. She is just happy that Sonny (Maurice Benard) takes her back to his money-laundering restaurant and seems to be on her side. Sure, he told Ava that she could see Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola), but making Kristina happy was his top priority.

Sonny had already promised Kristina that he would take care of Ava if the justice system did not. To that end, makes Kristina an offer that she can't refuse. Should Ava watch her back?

Molly issues a warning

After hearing Kristina tell her that she was never really Adela's mother — while making sure to use the name "Adela" — Molly is more furious than ever. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) takes Molly home and tries to be understanding. Alexis knows what Kristina said was wrong, but she tries to reason with Molly.

Molly tells her mother she better not side with her if she doesn't want to lose Kristina. Molly realizes that Kristina is at war with anyone who disagrees with her now, and Alexis needs to see that.

Memories for Liz and Lucky

While Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) spend some time at Rice Plaza enjoying holiday festivities, they get nostalgic for old times and find themselves flirting with one another.

Elizabeth wonders if Lucky is going to stick around Port Charles after all, but Lucky doesn't have a straight answer as usual. If he does stay, will Liz be drawn to him despite her better judgment?

A big surprise for Dex

Dex (Evan Hofer) is also in Rice Plaza where he puts Cyrus (Jeff Kober) on the spot and starts asking him about where he was the night Sam (Kelly Monaco) died. Cyrus insists he was not at the hospital visiting Lulu (Alexa Havins) so there's nothing further they need to discuss.

Later, Dex gets a very welcome surprise. Does Josslyn (Eden McCoy) have something special in store for Dex?
