General Hospital spoilers, December 30: Papa Valentin tears into Charlotte

Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) knows she is in big trouble the moment she sees Valentin's face scowling at her through the window of the Prague cafe. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) doesn't mince words when he enters the cafe. He knows that Charlotte had to lead Lulu (Alexa Havins) right to her, and there was no way they could have been found.

After angrily asking Charlotte if she's had a good visit with her mother, Valentin insists on taking his daughter back to where they have been living outside the city, but Lulu objects. Valentin doesn't care much about whatever Lulu has to say. He is not about to let him take Charlotte from him.

Little does Valentin know that Lulu placed a tracking device in Charlotte's purse that will lead her and whoever finds her right to them.

Elizabeth wants answers

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) is shocked to hear the hospital review board is meeting without telling her so she horns in on their meeting and makes some demands.

She knows they are hiding something from her but has no idea what. To that end, she tells Terry (Cassandra James) and Portia (Brook Kerr), the co-chiefs of staff who are also her best friends, to spill. "Tell me everything right now, or I'm walking out that door," she tells them. Will Elizabeth get the answers she's been looking for?

Lucas spills some tea

Lucas (Van Hansis) is still fuming after his confrontation with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) on Christmas Eve. He can't believe they had the nerve to make excuses for their actions and blame Sam's death on their adulterous affair.

When Lucas and Kristina (Kate Mansi) catch up at Charlie's Pub, she is shocked when Lucas tells her what happened. How could they disrespect their sister so much as to do that the night she died and then blame it on her death?

Ava begs for Laura's help

Now that the holidays are over, Ava (Maura West) has to deal with her newly broke status. Sure, she still owns a successful art gallery, but apparently the bulk of her funds has been coming from her divorce settlement that's now been taken from her.

Ava hopes that Laura (Genie Francis) can help her resolve this little issue since she is Nikolas' (Adam Huss) mother, but Laura will have some news for her former daughter-in-law. The Cassadines have named Ace as the new heir, and all of Nikolas' and Spencer's money is now in a trust overseen by Ava's mortal enemy, Alexis. Uh-oh.
