General Hospital Spoilers, April 24: Molly has a dire warning for Ric

Molly (Kristen Vaganos) is glad that her father is doing better and can even get out of bed now, but she doesn't like the relationship he has with Ava (Maura West) at all. Ric (Rick Hearst) tells Molly that Ava is a part of his life and he plans to keep it that way, but Molly is not sure she can accept that.

In fact, she wonders how Ric can even be a part of her own life if Ava is always hanging around and warns her dad that this could ruin their relationship when they had finally been growing close again.

Molly also runs into Cody (Josh Kelly) at GH after he has a bit of a medical emergency that alarms Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). Is Cody's visit or Ric's love life what leads Molly to make a shocking discovery?

Sonny's ready for surgery

Carly (Laura Wright) gets her wish and accompanies Sonny (Maurice Benard) to California for his open-heart surgery. Brick (Stephen A. Smith) is glad to see Carly there because he trusts her more than any other woman in Sonny's life.

Is Brick on the alert to look out for the bad guys, knowing that Natalia (Eva LaRue) may have slipped up and told Sidwell (Carlo Rota) what was really going on with Sonny, or did he drop the ball again? Brick vetted Natalia, but missed the fact that she was once married to Sidwell. Brick is not on his game and may want to consider never running for president if the opportunity presents itself.

Jason bonds with his son

With Sonny and Carly out of town, Jason (Steve Burton) is not at their beck and call, so he can focus on his own life and kids. Jake (Hudson West) may be in Europe, but Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) is around, and he is the only parent the teen has.

Jason takes Danny to the batting cages to hit a few balls. Danny opens up to Jason about how much he misses Sam, so Jason promises to be there for Danny, always. Can he keep that promise, considering his line of work?
