General Hospital Spoilers, April 14: Carly fears she made the biggest mistake of her life

What to expect on General Hospital

After her confrontation with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Carly (Laura Wright) wonders if she maybe took things a bit too far. She took Jack's advice to be herself and not hold back as she had been doing, but even Jason thinks she was a bit much when he had to drag her out of Drew's (Cameron Mathison) Dawn of Day house.

Carly goes running to Jack (Chris McKenna), frantic that it all went wrong. She worries that she just handed Michael's kids right to Willow after the things she said — and especially after she nearly got physical and slapped Willow. Jack reassures Carly that things will be okay, but that all depends on Willow.

Meanwhile, Willow decompresses from the incident by confiding in Nina (Cynthia Watros). Willow makes a big decision as she tells her mother that she worries that some of what Carly said may be true.

Ava thinks she has it all

Ava (Maura West) believes all her money troubles will soon be over because she expects Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to cough up some Cassadine cash by morning. She tells Ric (Rick Hearst) about her good fortune and how she is sure Alexis won't allow Kristina to take the fall for something she did. After all, she always protects Kristina.

However, Ric is not too sure of that and warns Ava that her plan may backfire. Little do they know that it already did. Alexis is willing to have Kristina (Kate Mansi) involuntarily committed rather than give Ava one dime. Besides, she knows that is the best thing for Kristina.

Laura's confession

Laura (Genie Francis) meets with Sonny (Maurice Benard) and delicately tries to tell him there may be some problems with their friendship. Sonny is surprised that Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) is coming down on her for allegedly giving Sonny preferential treatment, but understands if Laura doesn't want to be seen with him in public.

Spoilers say that Laura also gives Sonny news that will rattle him. Does she mention that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has been working with Drew and is also interested in building the esplanade on Sonny's pier? Sidwell's interest in Sonny's life has Sonny watching over his shoulder. This could be one more piece of evidence that he can't trust the new criminal in town.
