Once again, General Hospital’s Steve Burton shared an entertaining video on social media. His recent video clips have been motivational for the fans, designed to help people reassess their approach to life. While he previously discussed the difference between being celebrated or tolerated, his most recent video is very different. This time, he took fans behind the scenes of the venerable soap and did a little reminiscing, and the fans couldn’t get enough.

The Quartermaines may not see pie to pie, but they sure do love Thanksgiving

I actually just saw the amazing Jane Elliot-Tracy Q in the hallway and we were reminiscing about the holidays with the Quartermaines.
So many great times so many great memories. Such a blessing.
What were your fave holiday moments?
And don’t say me in a reindeer sweater 😂😂

The video he included was very surprising as it was from the actual General Hospital set, where you can see everything: the lighting grid in the ceiling, crew people doing their jobs, the Quartermaine foyer and drawing room, and as the camera panned, Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) patio and living room. Burton held the phone to himself as he walked around the studio and narrated:

Hey, hey, good morning. A lot of blocking [going on] here. As you can see, there’s the set and the holidays are among us over here at General Hospital.

He pointed out the well-decorated Christmas trees seen in both sets and continued, directing his comment right at the viewers:

You guys are awesome. Thanks for watching the show. Have a great day.

Burton’s girlfriend, recipe maker Michelle Lundstrom, couldn’t help but share the response:

🎄🥰 you are the cutest!!!

@patsygallardo couldn't answer his question but responded to his mentioning of Jane Elliot, who plays the irascible Tracy Quartermaine:

Too many to put down. Yes, Jane Elliott. Is such a great actress Love watching her scenes. Your scenes with Danny have been great. 👏

His words also made fans reminisce as the topic of the Quartermaines’ perpetually failed Thanksgiving dinners came up. @gingerkitz added:

Always love Thanksgiving at the Q's. Bring on the pizza!

Among our favorite Thanksgiving soap stories is the one where the Quartermaine celebrations always go horribly wrong, and they end up ordering pizza. It was hilarious when it first happened because the family is so rich that having to stoop to eat pizza when their lavish meal was wrecked caused them to contemplate what they were thankful for. And it’s been funny every year since.

@tinalbp chimed in about that annual storyline with:

I always look forward to seeing how the Qs' turkey dinner gets ruined on Thanksgiving so they have to order pizza!

And the behind-the-scenes had many intrigued as @valerie_mcmurray wrote:

I’ve always wanted to see the GH sets!! It’s so amazing to see how it’s all set up in such a small place and feels so big!
