General Hospital's Rebecca Herbst shares rare family photo...and a treat for 'Liason' fans

General Hospital star Rebecca Herbst had a fan-filled weekend making personal appearances on the East Coast with co-stars Maura West and Cynthia Watros on March 1 and 2. Before the events began, the actress took a little time to share a few things with a world full of fans on social media.

Herbst explained that she was having trouble sleeping in a Boston hotel room so she decided to share some of the sweet gifts various fanbases have given her recently. With Elizabeth's three big loves all back on GH at the same time, Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) and Elizabeth, Jason (Steve Burton) and Elizabeth, and Ric (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth fans feel like they have had a windfall as the fanbases root for their faves.

"While I’m having insomnia in Boston, I thought I’d share some pics of things that have been given to me over the past few+ months," Herbst tweeted. "I LOVED them all.#Liason #Liric #LnL2 These guys spoil me!"

Herbst then shared some snaps of flower arrangements fans have sent, as well as a Christmas tree and ornament from Jason and Elizabeth — aka Liason — fans that symbolize their first Christmas together decorating a makeshift tree in 1999.

"I was so happy to have this lil guy the week we had our power out!! And all the ornaments were perfect!!!" she wrote.

Finally, Herbst posted two family photos, something she rarely does. One snap was of herself with her husband, Michael Saucedo, and their three kids. The other was of Herbst and Saucedo alone.

"And since I’m in a sharing mood," Herbst tweeted. "The loves of my life. Yes, I am the shortest one in my house. (And there might be an I spy somewhere in there for a certain group.)"

The 'I spy' she was referring to was her jacket. If you zoom in and look closely, the word 'Liason' is embroidered on the hoodie.

General Hospital family ties

Herbst met Saucedo in 1999 when he landed the role of Juan Santiago on GH, the biological son of Lily Rivera (Lilly Melgar) and Miguel Morez (Ricky Martin). Saucedo played Juan until 2001, the same year he and Herbst married. Like Elizabeth, Herbst has three children with Saucedo, sons Ethan and Emerson and daughter, Ella.

On-screen, Elizabeth only has one kid at home as her older sons, Cameron (William Lipton) and Jake (Hudson West), are at college. Aiden (Colin Cassidy) is still in high school and enjoying watching his parents — Lucky and Liz, aka 'LL2' — grow closer.
