General Hospital's Parry Shen shares clever trunk party tip

General Hospital star Parry Shen has posted many hilarious videos on social media, including not knowing he was in the show’s opening credits and teaching people a new way to cook corn. Now he’s got another cool tip for folks who want to have fun dressing up their cars.

General Hospital’s Parry Shen (Brad Cooper) reposted a video he originally posted on TikTok to Instagram, captioning it:

The original trunk lights were very dim, so I added this led bar inside the trunk (and frunk)! And now it’s party central whenever either are open! 😆

The video had a text overlay stating, “Public service announcement if you buy these.” In it, he stated,

I just installed some new lights in my trunk, and now whenever I open it…it looks like a club.

Pointing a finger in the air to indicate he’s about to demonstrate his new creation, he opened the trunk of his car, revealing a string of LED lights lining the inner perimeter of the opening, and stepped away. A song called "Techno" by an artist named Jim Luxe started playing, and Shen moved back into frame, hilariously dancing to the beat.

The video then cut to him at a second car in his garage. Before opening the trunk to reveal another set of installed lights, he stated,

In here too.

Shen continued grooving to the music. The fans really enjoyed his crazy video, and @ComputeBlu responded,

You are so silly 😂😂

@trekval replied with a statement illustrating that they don’t generally frequent dance clubs:

That's as close to the club scene that I will ever get.

Another fan, @Mely_216, gave Shen another tip that he’ll most likely do by writing,

Hey Parry, get some rock lights installed in the wheel wells.. they have them to where you can change to whatever color and they also move to the beat of the music!! It looks pretty cool… * My daughter has them on her jeep 😁...Party on 🪩💃🕺.

A befuddled fan with the handle @ComedyIsTherapy responded,

Fans love Brad's latest scheme

On General Hospital, Shen’s character, Brad Cooper, discovered that co-chief of staff Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) had tampered with Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) blood test in order to prevent her from getting out of jail. Portia was also not happy that Brad was back working as a lab tech because of his former scheming ways. However, without directly saying it, Brad used the information to blackmail Portia into essentially being nice to him and accepting him back into the staff with open arms.

@johnstamosfan80 took the opportunity to share their thoughts on Brad giving Portia a printout of the evidence he found, and responded,

I was so disappointed that Brad gave Portia the evidence against her.

However, Shen recalled what Brad told her before he exited her office, and replied,

Don’t worry. He’s got a digital copy.

Another fan, @VentWithMe2024, chimed in with how they thought the story should progress, stating,

Careful Brad, Portia is likely to push you down the stairs! You need to always have another human as a witness. A digital copy isn’t going to save your life! I hope they find out what she did and is fired immediately. Her pretty face isn’t going to get her out of this one! #TeamBrad #GH

Portia has never displayed violent tendencies, but she did commit a crime by altering the test results. Brad was smart to use the evidence he found to his advantage, and it could surprisingly put him in her good graces for the foreseeable future.
