With Parry Shen back on General Hospital as Brad Cooper, anything’s possible. But even more so, Shen has traveled into the realms of horror and sci-fi with his other projects, including the cult classic fan favorites, the Hatchet film series. He’s also done quite a bit of voiceover work and recently shared his latest project.
He’s headed to the Boss Level
On Instagram, Shen wrote, “Here’s the gorgeous trailer to the episode, “SIFU: It Takes A Life” where I will be voicing the protagonist, ‘MC’. SIFU is part of Prime Video’s SECRET LEVEL -- a 15-episode animated anthology adapting various video game properties dropping on Dec 10th.”

He also shared a trailer for the series and continued writing, “The episode, based on Sloclap’s 2022 game, has MC fighting to avenge his father. With each labored trudge towards retribution, a talisman brings him back time and time again from death throughout the battle, but older and older with each reincarnation.”
Shen then took a moment to express his gratitude for being part of the project and revealed that another General Hospital co-star is also involved in the project: “Thanks to @the_blur_studio and @isenbergcasting for inviting me to play in this sandbox! *EDIT: I just found out the woman’s voice at the start, is LYDIA LOOK! This is an alternate universe where Brad went down a different path with his Aunt 😆!!”
On General Hospital, Lydia Look plays mobstress Selina Wu, who was connected to the Wu crime family from the 1980s. She’s also the aunt of Shen’s character, Brad Cooper, and has made his life torturous on several occasions.
The fans were excited about his new project, but digital creator @lurvraniii took a detour joke, responding, “Sooooo Brad has a side hustle?? Ohh lemme tell my mom!!” @themartinmood eagerly responded with, “This is so rad! Can't wait to binge on this. Already recognize your voice though. You always sound hella cool Parry Shen! 🔥.”
@tyler.wallach also had an enthusiastic response to Shen’s post, writing, “PARRY UR SIFU NOW TOO😭😭 I love you so much and u have the most legendary roles how do you end up being in the coolest s**t, while Shen replied to that: “@tyler.wallach 😊 🙏.”
Fan @krazykae2419 thought it was an ad for a video game at first, and then replied to Shen’s post, “Btw I've been gone for over 2 months and I'm sorry for that but you're still one of my favorites😊🙌❤️.”
