General Hospital star Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) is always one to share entertaining videos on social media. From mental health awareness to Star Trek parodies, Benards has everything covered.
While he posted a video of himself in the car while his son Joshua Benard was driving in August — and we got to see Benard’s inner Sonny emerge — he recently posted a similar video. This time, he was giving lessons, and hilarity ensued.

I remember getting my license as a teenager. It was the greatest thing in the world. I failed a test couple times.
I don’t think it’s as important these days with @uber and just life in general!!
A video accompanied his words in which Benard was in the passenger seat of a parked car. He stated:
Hey, keep driving. Keep driving.
Do you wanna go get hamburgers? Or what do you wanna eat? Thai food? You want Chinese food?
He thought for a moment and then looked around, stating:
Why don’t we go to…I don’t know. Where do you wanna go?
He panned the camera over and while fans expected to see Joshua again, it turned out to be his grandson Milo seated at the steering wheel. Milo was busy looking out the window and didn’t seem to be paying attention, so Benard again asked where the toddler would like to go. The child was looking at Benard and his phone camera, to which his Grandpa exclaimed:
Keep your eyes on the road! Keep your eyes on the road.
This brought a smirk to Milo’s face, who then looked out the windshield. Benard tilted his camera down to reveal something that wasn’t easily noticed at first. But fan @yowonderwoman77 pointed out:
The mom covered in the blanket is cracking me up!! 😂
Yes, a woman was seated beneath Milo, hidden with a blanket so that the young boy could easily reach the steering wheel.
Benard told him to keep going and then turned the camera back to himself, stating that the boy was driving without keeping his eyes on the road. He then addressed Milo:
All right. Let me know when we get there, okay?
The cute toddler seemed amused by his grandfather’s words. The fans all thought Milo was adorable, and Benard was hilarious, with @mtj427 replying:
Omg you have to be the funnest grandpa! Always making them laugh!!! ❤️
A hamburger joint called Nice Guys Burgers chimed in with an appropriate recommendation:
Bring him to nice guys burgers 🍔!!!!!
And Benard responded:
@nice.guysburgers 😍😍😍 I’ll be there soon
Many fans responded with memories of their children doing something similar, illustrating that Benard truly knows how to keep his followers engaged.
