It seems like if you blinked, you missed Emma Samm’s recent reprisal of Holly Sutton on General Hospital. She came to town after swiping diamonds from the villain, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), saving the lives of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) along the way. The baddie pursued her to Port Charles, capturing her daughter Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) in exchange for the diamonds. Once he got them, he escaped under the cover of a warehouse that blew up. Ultimately, Holly needed the money to pay off a crime syndicate that she owed, so she and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) left Port Charles in the end.
In real life, Samms doesn’t have such dramatic situations, and she shared her love for a furry friend on social media in a way that was far more upbeat than anything General Hospital could throw at her.

General Hospital’s Emma Samms took to Instagram to spread her happiness, writing, “It’s #loveyourpetday so here’s Willis, who is old and grumpy and very loved. And it seems a good opportunity to applaud @the_blue_cross for their amazing work helping so many sick, injured and homeless pets in the UK. #willis #rescuedog #pets #adoptdontshop.”
She shared a few pics of her cute pooch, and she was holding her furry friend and smiling in two of them. Her fans were delighted to see Samms and her dog and were glad that she was spreading the word about adopting pets who desperately need a home.
While @brianfrancisclarknyc wrote, “Thanks for highlighting this worthy cause 🙌 🙏,” @cherylcobb111 followed that up with, “I love organizations that help animals & the people who support them ❤🐾”
@kaplan4618 was overjoyed to see the doggie, responding, “Enjoy the cutie Willis!! Emma ! Awesome job for those who are so caring out there. Thank you 😊.” A representative from the Blue Cross UK chimed in with, “Just look at Willis, the picture of love and longevity! Thank you, Emma, your shout-out warms our hearts as much as Willi's furry embrace warms yours. 💙🐾 - Pablo.”
Ardent fan, @gmrc17, happily responded, “I remember you tweeting when Willis joined your family! He hasn't lost his looks! Must run in the family. Hope he's feeling well.” Everyone agreed that Willis was a cutie, and it’s nice to see General Hospital actors using their star power to help animals in need!
