General Hospital star Cameron Mathison has a lot on his plate. He’s been in several Hallmark films, including the Murder She Baked series of films, and hosting the game show Beat the Bridge.

Mathison also signed a multi-year contract with Great American Family to appear in several of that network’s films. His latest movie for that channel is arriving soon, and fans are excited.

General Hospital’s Cameron Mathison, who plays the philandering Drew Quartermaine, has been a busy beaver. Not only will he appear at a convention known as Christmas Con in December, but he’s also working the holiday angle to its fullest, starring in the new film Home Sweet Christmas. In it, Mathison plays Sam, and his co-star is Full House alum Candice Cameron Bure, who plays Sophia.

Great American Family, along with the two actors, posted on Instagram:

A successful lawyer returns home after inheriting part of a maple forest farm. As she reconnects with her childhood friend who co-owns the property, she’ll get a chance to reexamine what matters most... ❤️
'Home Sweet Christmas' stars @candacecbure and @cameronmathison in a heartfelt Christmas movie for the whole family, premiering Sunday, December 1 at 8/7c on Great American Family!

Mathison responded to it with a resounding, “Woo hooooo[!]” and Great American Pure Flix, a faith-based streaming service that was merged with Great American Family, replied with several applause and a fire emoji.

His General Hospital co-star Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) chimed in with:

Can’t wait[!]

Fans eagerly responded, stating that not only could they not wait for the film to premiere, but they love both actors, as evinced by @liz_dalicandro's response:

Excited these two paired up!! I’ve been waiting for this! Can’t wait to watch!

@greenmilly2 also responded with:

I cannot wait! ❤️ I'm so thankful for GAC!

Illustrating how the networks care about and appreciate their audience, @greatamericanfamily took the time to react to the fan’s loving words with the response:

@greenmilly2 We are thankful for YOU! ❤️

An ardent fan, @angelarosettaspall, took the time to expound on their love for the actors and the Christmas movies as well, and specified one of Mathison’s previous Hallmark holiday films with:

Can’t wait! I love you both, and together it’ll be amazing. But of course, my absolute favorite Christmas movie is The Christmas Ornament, especially at the end out on the lawn when you give your speech about love is not a destination…You get me emotional every single time. Love it! 🥹❤️ 👏🥲🥰You’re amazing ❤️💚❤️💚

Home Sweet Christmas premieres on Sunday, December 1st, at 8 pm EST.

You can watch new episodes of General Hospital on ABC and Hulu.
