General Hospital's Drew Quartermaine wasn't about to give up his ELQ shares, and now he's blown up Willow and Michael's marriage. However, Drew might not care what Willow thinks of him soon if Cameron Mathison is right about where his character's life might be headed.
General Hospital's Drew saves himself
When Ned presented Drew with the video of his bar brawl with Cody in which Cody announced Drew had kissed Willow and was sleeping with her mother, Nina, Drew knew he had to think fast. While Ned was willing to keep the video private, he wanted Drew's ELQ shares in return.

To avoid handing anything over to Ned, Drew just told Michael that he kissed his wife without consulting Willow. Not only that, but Willow was right there begging Drew to keep his big mouth shut.
Now, Michael is furious, Willow is devastated, and Nina might want to rethink who she has fallen for. But has Drew actually fallen for Nina?
Cameron Mathison offers insight
While Drew has been practically stalking Willow despite her telling him to stay away, he has also been running for Congress with Nina on his arm. She's been practically running his campaign and thought she could pose as his significant other. Of course, Nina and Drew have been sleeping together since spring, but that was only supposed to be a friends-with-benefits arrangement.
Nina has already told friends she thinks she can have something special with Drew. Now, Mathison thinks that Drew might truly want to be with Nina and put the whole Willow saga behind him.
"I think he’s starting to develop feelings for Nina," Mathison said in an interview with Soap Opera Digest. "They’ve really hit it off and she’s been so supportive through this campaign for him. And I also think he’s really trying to forget about Willow and just move on and move on with the person that he feels close to, which is Nina. It just so happens that she is related to Willow, which makes it super awkward. But I think he is fully planning on moving on from Willow, he is fully planning on not having this Willow thing continue, so he is really focusing on trying maybe become a little closer with Nina."
If Drew does indeed have this awakening, will it be too late? Nina might start looking at Drew's askance after learning Drew kissed Willow a second time — and told Michael all about it.
