General Hospital and Days of Our Lives actors join forces to share hope and goodwill

Coastal Entertainment, the company that puts together various events featuring your favorite soap stars has a new, major event coming up that’s a gathering of the greats. Actors from General Hospital and Days of Our Lives will be participating in a Zoom meeting with fans called Daytime Makes a Difference, Live on Zoom! on January 19, 2025.

Nearly everyone will be there

General Hospital stars Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) and Josh Kelly (Cody) will be hosting the event. Coastal Entertainment’s website describes it thusly: “Join your favorite daytime actors this Sunday on Zoom as they come together to bring awareness and assistance to their neighbors in need. Hosted by Bradford Anderson and Josh Kelly, this ninety-minute to two-hour Zoom event will feature a broad array of daytime talent, both past and present sharing their experiences and their wishes of hope and goodwill. Join us for some fun and to help us do some good! More stars to be added!”

The site also explains where the money to participate in it will go: “100% of all proceeds will go to benefit World Central Kitchen, Pasadena Humane Society, and the LA Fire Department Foundation,” and further added, “If you can't be live on the Zoom, you can still buy a ticket and we'll email you the link to watch the recording, recording will be available for 14 days.”

Fans won’t appear on camera but can ask their questions via the chat. They can join in at 2:30pm EST, but the event doesn’t start until 3:30pm EST.

Coastal Entertainment also posted about it on their Instagram page which included a photo containing almost all the guests along with the caption, “Daytime Makes a Difference 💕💕💕💕. The daytime community is coming together to bring awareness and assistance to their neighbors in need! Come be a part of an extraordinary afternoon this #Sunday as stars past and present join us on the #zoom stage. Hosted by @justjokingjk and @bfordanderson - 100% of proceeds to benefit World Central Kitchen @wckitchen @pasadenahumane and LA Fire Department Foundation ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Please join us and help us make a difference ❤️.”

The guest list seems to be rather long, but some highlights include General Hospital’s Tristan Rogers (Robert), John J. York (Mac), Kate Mansi (Kristina), and alum Ian Buchanan (Duke). Among the Days of Our Lives celebs participating are Carson Boatman (Johnny) and Eric Martsolf (Brady).

The fans were ecstatic to see such a huge lineup. Soap fan @cluebear_tmi replied, “You know why I love these events. It's because we get to see their chilled side vs there character side.” @cassmarie3131 praised the stars with: “Why am i not surprised at some of the faces that are involved here always wanting to help others.”

It looks like a fun time will be had by all!
